Perfect Hair Salon in Carrollton, Texas

I originally came to Perfect Hair Salon after seeing a co-worker's new shorter style. I was having a problem with consistency with my current stylist at the time. That has been several years ago now and I'm still a loyal client. Doesn't matter if I'm dying my hair dark for fall/winter or getting hi-lites for spring/summer Julie always takes care of me. Also, never been disappointed with Kathy or Julie waxing my brows. Highly recommend both ladies.

Reviews are solicited by Julie. I was asked to write one and I did write a positive review which I have now changed. The following are the true facts... I WAS a regular customer here for over 6 years. The service has declined in the past 1-2 years. Several times I have had to go back (which is time consuming and inconvenient) to get the highlights Julie put in my hair corrected. About 5 months ago, I was burned by the blow dryer on my neck and had a scab on my neck for 3 days. I went for an appointment 4 days ago. Once again, my highlights are orange and much too heavy. Julie CLAWED my scalp while shampooing my hair to the point that it was actually painful. I am not tender headed. The water was cold and uncomfortable and when I asked for warm water it was as if that was too much trouble. Julie told me her hands were hot. What does that even mean? Then once again, Julie burned me with the blow dryer. I had to ask her to stop drying my hair. She commented that I was "hot" that day. Again, what does that mean? So I called this am to get an appointment to get my hair corrected (again) and was told to be there at 1. I was there at 12:55 and when they put people ahead of me that arrived AFTER me, I walked out. Every time I have gone there I have had to wait. I understand waiting but not while Julie applies her makeup for the day. Or when I have an appointment and they take a walk in ahead of me because the walk in is a male and it won't take as long as my hair takes. That is wrong. I am very upset and I will definitely find a different hair salon. I expect much better when I am paying $135.00 (125.00 & 10.00 tip). I don't want to make 2 trips to a hair salon (due to stylist error), get burned twice, have my scalp tender to the touch because of the roughness, have my hair washed in cold water, wait for 40 minutes when I have an appointment, etc. Very poor service.
